First time here, and not the last. Friendly. The only negative I have is they only accept cash and they don't display prices. Besides that, the food is amazing.
Great sandwich, very friendly staff, great atmosphere. We will be going back. And they have gluten-free bread for the sandwiches.
I felt very welcome at cool beans, going to a new coffee shop for the first time can be intimidating but all the vibes were good and welcoming. The adirondacker sandwich was delish and as fresh as you can get. and my raspberry iced latte with handpacked espresso was the best coffee I have had in awhileee. 10/10 recommend 😊
TL;DR: Possibly best coffee in Queensbury, decent breakfast sandwiches, bring cash/ATM card. I would drive a couple extra miles to get my morning coffee from Cool Bean's on Quaker Road. Somehow, their coffee's always smoother and doesn't taste at-all burnt or over-sweetened compared to many other local... shall we say... spots. I always enjoy seeing what special flavors are available each morning; their French Toast Flavor is one of my favs. The staff is friendly, prompt, and attentive to needs (I barely mentioned the cream was running low and the barista dude began refilling it), even in the face of busy caffeine-seeking mobs of people who seem to descend on the shop in waves some mornings. Fair amount of indoor seating (especially outside rush times), plenty of outdoor seating, parking can get a little tricky in peak times, 1lb of beans is around $14, so a little pricey (for my taste) for bulk beans, but not unheard-of. "Impossible" vegetarian meat substitutes available, not sure about milk alternatives (generally regular cream or half-and-half is available on the counter) but I photographed the menus so check those out. Maybe they've got some oat milk hidden behind the counter for dairy-free folk. They're cash-only but have an ATM inside. Frequent-visitor coffee and sandwich stamp-cards available at the register. This is not a paid promotion, I just like their coffee.
Great little place. The 2 running the place are friendly and funny. The visual representations from the menu to the woodwork and the decor add a sense of sophistication to the atmosphere. They know what they're doing and it shows!
Nice little coffee shop with good coffee and bagels. The barista was friendly and worked very efficiently as the only one there. I also liked that there were outlets at most of the booths and that they sold discounted day-old bagels. I do think that there needs to be better ventilation over by the griddle as it is a relatively small space and there’s a lot of bacon being prepared there every day.

What an adorable place! Great selection of coffees and brilliantly shown. Bagels are delicious and the bacon is must try! Quick service and the hostess was witty with all of her customers. A little gem!!!
Just a one woman show making delicious food & coffee. The bagel sandwich was delicious and fresh. No microwaves in this kitchen. And the adorable bubble gum machines on the way out brought back many fond memories. Thanks for a great breakfast!
Their breakfast sandwiches are the best! Bagels are always fresh and my fav is southwest chicken chipotle one! Also wake me up smoothie is delicious! Highly suggest to visit :)
